The HITRUST Results Distribution System (RDS) is an online portal that provides assessed entities to fulfill the requests of their relying parties by sharing their assessment results via our application. Through API integration, the relying party can ingest specific elements they are seeking such as: assessment date, scope, control requirements, scores, corrective action plans (CAPs), and more. If your organization has obtained HITRUST certification, you can use the Developer Portal to connect the CORL Portal with the HITRUST RDS API.
Create a HITRUST Secret
- Navigate to Support
> Developer Portal > HITRUST RDS Configuration.
- Click Create Assessment Connection ID.
- Specify a unique Connection Name.
- Specify the Connection Description.
- Click Create Connection.
Create a HITRUST RDS Connection
- Follow the instructions above to Create a HITRUST Secret.
- Click the Actions button.
- Click the Clipboard icon
to copy the secret to clipboard.
- Navigate to HITRUST RDS.
- Click Accept if you agree with the Terms of Use.
- Select the assessment.
- Paste the secret into Enter Recipient Token and click Enter.
- Repeat the steps if you want to establish more than one HITRUST RDS connection.
By taking the steps above, you are authorizing CORL to retrieve HITRUST assessment data for the selected assessments.
